John brings with him a passion for recovery. He is someone who strongly believes that we don't get clean and sober to be miserable. John is a walking example that recovery is possible and living clean and sober is a life worth living. He oversees the daily operations and is the voice that will walk a concerned parent through the admissions process. John ensures the highest caliber of treatment at Recovery In Paradise. Greg, an integral member of our Recovery In Paradise team, brings years of experience in 12-step recovery programs. With a personable approach, he readily shares his insights and guides guests through the twelve steps, fostering growth in their recovery journey.

Nancy had a long time career in healthcare and brings her love and compassion for others to the center of Recovery In Paradise. She has spent a lot of time over the years working with others in the programs of AA,  NA, and CA both in Canada and in Puerto Vallarta. Nancy will be here to welcome you with open arms and make you feel right at home during your rehabilitation.

I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Centro Universitario de la Costa. Commencing my professional journey in psychology therapy in 2022 within a private practice setting, I have attained three certifications: one in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy, another in Systemic Family Therapy, and the third in International Diploma in Addiction Psychotherapy.

Kelly's past experiences are way to extensive to list. Long story short, she does it all. From cooking, cleaning, shopping, baking fattening delicious treats, and keeping everyone laughing. Kelly is also a fully trained paramedic who will be with you if you re going through a detox.

Frank brings with him many years of experience working in treatment centres. The words that come to mind when I think of Frank are Kind, gentle and extreamly caring. Frank works nights to make sure everyone is safe and secure in our home. Frank can also be seen helping out during the day with whatever is needed.

Daniel has been teaching Yoga since 2013 to combat the harmful and involuntary thoughts of the mind, the natural deterioration of the body and potential disease.Daniel began a search for optimal health that led him to practice Yoga, Tai Chi & Zen Buddhism.​We are privileged to have Daniel on our team and leading the guests at Recovery in Paradise with Yoga classes five times a week.

Dr. Miguel Buenrostro completed his medical studies at La Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit and earned a degree from La Universidad Marista de Guadalajara. He possesses extensive experience working within private hospital emergency rooms. Since 2012, he has specialized in tourist medicine, catering to private hospital settings in renowned destinations including Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Los Cabos, and Puerto Vallarta over the past five years. Dr. Buenrostro has also been a valued member of the Recovey in Paradise team for the last two years, dedicating his expertise to assisting numerous clients coping with diverse addiction issues.

Carolan is our Art Therapy Instructor. She brings over 25 years of experience teaching Art. She is the owner of The Annex Studio and Gallery located in Puerto Vallarta.

Dr. Raul studied at the Universitario de Ciensias de Salud in Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico He will be meeting each arriving resident to do a health checkup and go over any prescribed medications prior to settling in.

Cesar brings to Recovery in Paradise his lifetime of experience and knowledge of Puerto Vallarta. He will be planning and guiding our excursions while keeping all our guests smiling as they get to know Puerto Vallarta.
